The Chef, passionate and talented,
creates an exceptional culinary
exceptional dining experience at Millo.

The Chef is passionate about cooking, born in Cartagena de Indias-Colombia and with a master’s degree in culinary trends and haute cuisine from the prestigious University of San Ignacio de Loyola in Lima, Peru.

His passion for gastronomy has led him to travel to different countries and cities, seeking to enrich his knowledge of various culinary cultures.

During his career, he had the opportunity to work at Leo, a renowned restaurant in Colombia that is among the top 50 best restaurants in Latin America. This experience allowed him to develop his talents and skills in a high-level culinary environment.

In addition, to further expand his culinary knowledge, the Chef who is now in Cartagena de Indias, carried out internships in restaurants recognized with Michelin stars. These include the renowned restaurant “Martin Berasategui” and “Arzak” in San Sebastián, Spain, both awarded three Michelin stars. He also had the opportunity to work in a restaurant with a Michelin star, called “Andreu Genestra Mallorca”.

Michell Guzman gained international experience working at the “Richard Marco” restaurant in Cahors, France. This opportunity allowed him to immerse himself in French cuisine and explore new techniques and flavors.

In 2016, he decided to join forces with a talented professional named Loic Villepontoux, with the aim of creating his own gastronomic concept. Together, they combined the best of Latin and European cuisine, fusing flavors and techniques to bring the Millo culinary experience to life, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

With his extensive background and knowledge of various culinary cultures, the chef has managed to create a unique and captivating gastronomic concept in Millo. His passion for cooking and his constant pursuit of excellence are reflected in every dish he creates, providing diners with an exceptional culinary experience.

After 8 years in Spain, they decided to transfer Millo project to Cartagena de Indias-Colombia.
